this album is very good... I caught a frames show a 2 years ago and this band opened for them... "combat baby" could be such a big hit... wonderful album. nice to see someone on here talking about my kind of music.... you should check their first album.. also the lead singer did some of the vocals on the latest broken social scene album

I was a little suprised no one has made this thread, but, nevertheless this is the i <3 Metric/Emily Haines. I purchased old world underground a few weeks ago and it is in HEAVY rotation still and i also got my hands on the static anonymity EP and it is amazing as well. Jasons fav. metric songs (songs you should check out): grow up and blow away calculation theme dead disco hustle rose combat baby (mainly the intro and outro) _________________

Yup. I've been getting into them a lot as of late. First song I heard was "Rock Me Now", and I liked it, so I decided to check out the rest of their stuff. Emily Haines has got the smoothest voice. Good stuff.

nice to see someone posting about them, I love them. the song IOU is amazing, well and so is the whole rest of that album. I have yet to hear any of there new material though. Im going to see them here in cleveland on October 15th. Should all check them out though. Good stuff
