My 2 cents
I was at the show last night......Section H Row 1.
I stood the whole time....by myself and I did not care if I looked weird rocking out alone!!!!
By the end of the concert I was able to stand near the divider/fence.
I have been a fan since 2000.....it was the 6th time I saw them..
I have to say it was the best concert (but the crowd did suck!!!!)
The best song in my opinion was vitamin :)

Last night, one word ..PRICLESS. I was front row, right up front next to Mikey...awesome. Sorry If my girl was roddy. haha

How can anyone say the crowd was weak? The crowd was loud..everyone was singing every note from song to song..I could barley hear Brandon...except with Pantomime, which blew me away.

Next stop ..Hershey

You're dissapointed with a 3 hour show? Incubus went on at 9:00 exactly and left the stage at like 10:45. I was very happy with that.

Hiya,

They didnt take our cameras away, i took pics of all of them and plan to post them, if and when my scanner starts to work again. DJ Kilmore covered a song of Led Zepplin while he was scratching. They sampled whole lot of love during an instrumental break in ACSOG. (thanks threeeleven) For my vip tickets I paid total 320 but i split it so it was 160. Jake Versluis picked up the meet and greet fans at a designated location for the meet and greet winners. We were then escorted into a ballroom to meet the guys.

I may be going tonight, however I dont have tickets but plan on getting in anyway if i do go. No more vip passes that i purchased but god knows its a possibility. If i go tonight i will hit 11 shows in 2 years.

MSG show last night

The set list was not too different, they omitted under my umbrella in the encore, replaced it with pardon me. To be honest, i think thats the only song they replaced. U know I had a sign that had "CROWDED ELEVATOR (NATALIE)" Brandon, Ben, and Chris cheesed smiled when they saw me and Brandon was so obvious that he was looking at my sign, cause he looked down at me and smiled really hard...BUT THEY DIDNT FUCKING PLAY CROWDED ELEVATOR. So brandon promised me 2 times, and they didnt play it. So I give them to Monday in wilkes barre, pa to play it..or im going to be really pissed off. Maybe they'll save it for Monday, cause they know im going as a surprise? Who the f**k knows.

The show was great last night...brandons girl caroline was there as well as dj kilmores girl, and mikeys girl. I was right in the front row, middle, and almost beat the shit out of a girl who is so lucky i dont have a voice, and my patience has grown over the years.

Yes, my voice is still so gone, however, I managed to give a good yell once. Now im paying the consequence.

Cheers
Natalie

Incubus rocks crowd Thursday in A.C.
By VINCENT JACKSON Staff Writer, (609) 272-7202, E-Mail

ATLANTIC CITY - The California hard rock band Incubus opened its North American tour Thursday here showing off its impressive musical diversity.

During a 19-song, 1 hour, 45-minute sold-out concert, the band refused to stay in easily defined musical categories. The songs, culled from the band's four major label releases, included jump-up and pump-your-fist anthems like the opening song, "Megalomaniac," and more melodic sway-to-the-music tunes like "Wish You Were Here."

Underrated guitarist Mike Einziger demonstrated virtuosity on his instrument without slipping into self-indulgence. The group even included a percussion break during their show that former followers of the Grateful Dead could love.

Incubus' older lyrics offered some sense of hope and positivity, but stayed away from the wimpy classification, and the songs from their latest CD made political and social allusions without preaching.

Formed in 1991, Incubus' casino debut at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort came at a time when their musical powers are at their height. The band came armed with some of the best songs of their career, courtesy of their newest CD, "A Crow Left Of The Murder" With three months of touring in Japan and Europe to warm them up, the band launched their tour of the states in top form.

Wisely, the floor of the Mark G. Etess Arena contained no chairs as 2,000 people danced and moved about. Another 3,000 people occupied seats in the elevated sections.

As the evening progressed, the energy from the fans and the group seem to fuel each other. And even though Incubus gave the crowd plenty of raw meat rockers to feast on, like "Priceless," the band didn't embarrass itself when it came time to turn the volume down. The ballad, "Here In My Room" showed that lead vocalist Brandon Boyd could sing a tender song live, and few hard rock groups could handle the Beatles-like vocal harmonies at the end of the tune.

The band took its biggest pop hit, "Drive," and re-arranged it with Einziger playing keyboards instead of the tune's memorable guitar lick.

At many shows, fans head to the bathroom when bands start playing their new songs. But four straight songs from the group's latest album - "Pistola," the title track, "Talk Show on Mute" and "Sick, Sad Little World" - turned into the concert highlight. For anyone on the floor with an ounce of energy left, the band ventured back to their funk metal roots and played their heaviest song of the night, "A Certain Shade of Green" from their 1997 major-label debut.

Packing the smallest venue of their tour, Incubus graduated into the status as one of the best live acts of the current modern rock pack.

justmenat...Thanks for sharing all the info you have! It's been priceless! Wink I was bummed when I heard you couldn't bring your own camera into the vip experiences, I'm glad they are not being strict about that.
