it really wasn't as short as you think. the drum solo was absolutely crazy. while the whole show seemed generic, i think we got the best encore of the tour so far. i got a couple of pics im uploading, but they were in section K so don't get too excited
Poor section K guys :(

I was RIGHT in front of the band in the second row. I am a lazy fck so I didn't bring a camera... shame too, as I had a view good enough for some awesome pictures. Man I regret that now.

I don't understand what everyone is saying about the show being boring/generic/sucky/whatever, I thought it was amazing. It was kind of a letdown that brandon didn't say much, he didn't seem very invested in entertaining, but other than that one minor flaw I thought the show was great. I loved the setlist and it just rocked amazingly. I don't know maybe because it was my first incubus show I have nothing to compare it to, but I was definitely satisfied. Best 60ish bucks ever spent (damn ebay scalpers :( ).
I read that they played led zep and the girl that posted forgot which song. does anyone who was there know which one it was?
They sampled whole lot of love during an instrumental break in ACSOG. Yes it rocked.

My dad really wanted to see Incubus again (I took him to PNC for the Morning View tour) so I brought him again last night (I'm 22 before you think I'm 12) and I never gambled before so he gave me 5 bucks in quarters to try out the slot machines. After spending $1.25, I put 3 quarters into one slot machine and pulled the lever. The fucking thing counted how many bets I was winning back, for like 5 minutes. I won 810 quarters with equals $202.50. That was a great fucking start to my night.

I loved the show. Sure, I wanted to hear Take Me To Your Leader, but I must stress, that was my dream encore. I was starting to worry they wouldn't play Pantomime, but there Brandon was all alone, opening the encore. And then Under My Umbrella. I would've been happy to go home after that and they played The Warmth. Best encore I could've hoped for. And I never really liked Priceless till last night. It was amazing and Brandon's energy onstage is unreal. Great night. Great show.

Kilmore just played the guitar riff over the turntables and then fucked with it. It was incredible.

So here goes my take on last night. I totally am feeling anyone who wasn't feeling the vibe last night. I am still in shock from the way the crowd was last night. I had seats but only stayed there for like two and a half songs because the guy behind me asked me if I was going to stand the whole time. Well I planned on it, but I was dumbfounded when I looked around and I swear pretty much nobody was standing. There were people sitting there not moving at all like they were watching a movie. So I had words with the dude and got the fuck out of there. I spent the rest of the night trying to hold my connection to the music and the band while fighting off security telling us to move back (I just kind of stood whereever I could) Anyone in the pit could never have known what the deal was outside of it, it was a mistake buying seats and I learned a huge lesson.
I tryed my hardest to feel Incubus' vibe, but I know they felt the crowds' vibe. They were so good but seriously when they looked out at the crowds of seated people I can only imagine what kind of feeling they got. I think that is why they didn't interact with us, Brandon yelled out "what's up NJ like 4 times and the place never went nuts, ever. Anyway the Taj sucks and I will never go there again. On a brighter note I am going to MSG tonight so I am grateful for that. I hope I didn't bring anyone down with my story. I just never experienced a concert vibe from the crowd like that in my life.

I stood the whole time, either on the floor behind the rail or up in section A where my seats were. I didnt care if the people behind me couldnt see, thats their fault for not getting into it. Poeple pissed me off last night, especially these 3 girls that jumped up and down several times and a screamed when they started to play Wish You Were Here and Warning. I wanted to turn around and give them a quick 1-2. haha. dumb 12 year old broads.

Well it was a pretty small venue so you aren't going to get a huge booming response.

I imagine it was a very different show for the people with seated tickets. Like I said I was GA and right in front of the stage; for me it was a very different concert. Everyone around was really into it, singing, dancing, it was great. It probably kinda sucked for the seated people.

I felt the vibe and the music completely and I only stood to cheer them out for the ecore. I was in section N and no one was standing and I see nothing wrong with that. I love sitting at shows. It doesn't make me experience it any less. And I'm sure Incubus didn't give a shit. They had the whole pit jumping around for them. And I also disagree on the crowd in general. Everytime Brandon said , "What's up Jersey?" I thought everyone gave him just what he was looking for. And I was also impressed that everyone around me (drunk jocks and stupid hot chicks) knew every song and were even talking about how they bought Live in Japan and love it. I have nothing bad to say about the show, the crowd, Incubus performing or the place. I loved it.

that's not necessarily true, i have seen them in venues of all sizes, although the crowd can get louder with more in attendance, it doesn't mean that a little venue crowd can't bring the house down. the best crowds i have been with have been small crowds, if there are only 5000 people going, one would think that it would be 5000 of their best fans that got the tickets. that's a shame about the vibe there.
i did catch them in vegas once though and it was kind of the same, it made me wonder how many of the tickets were given out by the casino instead of purchased by fans.

yeah everyone around me was from monmouth county, so when brandon asked that the entire section started cheering. they also went nuts when he started calling out seciton numbers. "whats up section.... H?"

That's cool Fogerty, everybody experiences things differently. I just knew that I could vent here, I needed to, I feel better having shared my thoughts with you guys. Plus it is good to hear everyone else's experiences, it's really good too that you enjoyed it in your own way. I am just a really dramatic, sensitive, deep vibe type of person, the way I felt last night just effected me deeply.

It's Incubus. You'll be missing something, even if it's the same show you've seen.

Or at least that's how I look at it.

still buzzing from the AC show ... it was my third time seeing incubus and it was the best yet. the set totally rocked out! my only complaint was that brandon didn't talk too much. i thought they seemed very businesslike, i thought they might be a little looser since it was a small show and at the beach!
it was much better to be on the floor, lots of room to thrash! my highlights were nowhere fast, crow, green and the warmth.
to the person who asked what zepp song was sampled, it was whole lotta love. that was incredible!!!
i don't know why someone said they are stuck on morning view, they only played 2 songs from that album ...
can't wait for philly on tuesday baby!!!!!!!!

oops my bad, they played 4 songs from morning view ... i guess i would have liked half that and replace the others with more songs from science or crow ...
can't wait to hear about msg tonight. i am so tempted to leave work right now and drive up to nyc ...

In the middle of Pistola, Brandon got a guitar and played. Was that a first? (I mean him playing during that song)
