make the board usable on iphone and other mobile browsers. Basically just a theme that detects if you are using a mobile browser and makes things readable without massive zooming.

It's for phpbb 3.0. We're on 2.x for a while, unless someone wants to port the Crow & Science themes to 3.0

So far i found 2 good mobile themes for phpbb 3.0.x
1 is for iphone specifically but it is still in beta and there are some obvious bugs/issues with it still. The other is for any mobile browser. It looks ok.
As far as getting the current themes to 3.0.x compliant... I don't know if it is possible. I found the originals and neither have been updated so I can't just do a simple picture swap.
The new theme system is a lot nicer though and I could create 1 or two using the artwork from the current ones. The only problem is that it would not be the same at all. I'm worried that after spending the time on it the board will get updated and everyone will complain just because it's different.
If Drew is cool with just saying screw everyone, we need to update then I'll go ahead and give it a shot.

I'm fine with it - it needs to happen eventually, although I'm loathe to recode all of the hacks I already have in place (avatar limitations/resizing, locking out posters in certain forums, spam control, etc), we need to upgrade to stay current on security issues. Let me run it by the others and I'll let you know.

As far as getting the present designs to 3.0.x qualified... I don't know if it is possible. I found the authentic ones and neither have been customized so I can't just do a simple picture come returning.
