Some of us think it would be a good idea to have a sports forum, instead having a bunch of threads get lost in MATMD.

But seriously, the sport threads do get lost among the many various topics going on in the MATMD Section. Frequently a sport-topic will pop up that a lot of people talk about (ie - Tiger Woods winning the AP Male Athlete of the Year).

Sports having it's own forum would not go under-used, or under-appreciated.

Just because there's only five or so people trying to get it doesn't mean that only five people will use it.

Just look at all of the major sport threads in MATMD, dozens upon dozens of people use them.

This IS in demand, and will be of good use, and makes it more organized, which i know everyone on here loves organization.

Pleeeease, we're asking politely, or at least something be done about it (ie they be moved). I'm sure we're all aware of the MATMD regulars, and the sport-threads just don't make sense there.

Personally, if all the sports threads had a seperate forum created for them, I would probably stop paying attention to them. They're fine where they are.

Keep in mind that its only 5.5 people who looked in this forum. I doubt that many people check this one. Also, we wouldn't have to put everything about one sport in one thread. Any type of sports news would go in there. I think sports would be more talked about if it had its own forum. Don't forget all the soccer threads, too.

Hahaha!, That's genious Ryan.

But i think their way of dealing with this idea is just to ignore it all together, there hasn't been a legitimate arguement against it.

Seems like a lot of people here would like it. I mean look at the two struggling sport threads in the MATMD section, they're buried down on the bottom after only a few days of idle. They simply do not make sense being in there, sports needs its own section.

The Sport Forum could have all sorts of stuff, maybe a sticky about going to a game, share the experience (similiar to a that side of the floor type of thing). Like right now there could be threads about MLB, NHL, NASCAR, and yes even Golf.

Various things about specific happeings with players, and ESPN stuff. The possibilities are endless. Pleasepleaseplease.
