pretty great game indeed. benson needs to be benched just like grossman. 97 yard drive in less than 2 minutes? first time i have EVER seen the bears do that.
let's hope they beat the snot out of detroit next week...

benson keeps running into the bunch of lineman. if ONLY he could run AROUND them and get 4-5 more yards on every run. i say put NIU standout Garrett Wolfe in there. He has speed and hopefully the knowledge of how to pick up yardage.

rex is never around griese. i didn't see him at all. it was always orton and griese reviewing the play pictures. grossman is probably sitting by his lonesome on the bench.

wow, the last drive of the bears game was crazy. i read on espn that griese's radio in his helmet went out at the beginning of the drive and he was calling all the plays himself, maybe that was a good thing based on how the offense was doing pretty lame the whole game.
while we are on the topic of football, has anyone ever tailgated up at Northwestern for a game? I might go when they play Iowa in a few weeks and want to know how it goes up there. |

haha, i was thinking the same thing about Ron Turner.
as for tailgating, i assume there are lots I can just pull into and pay to park and tailgate there? that's really the only thing i was wondering about. |

When I was there I took the El, so Im not exactly sure if it's pay and park. I was tailgating in the parking lot, but Im not sure if you need a special ticket or something

my buddy is having a party at a bar in the north side this saturday. it's supposed to be a spooktacular time! i still haven't decided what i'm going to be... this happens every year... it's $30 open bar for 4 hours... i'm sure i'll think of something really quick...
