i suggest that those of you who are truly bothered by the slowness of the site contribute the the hosting costs. |

Whenever I click on the forum link on the home page it just connects and says done but doesn't go anywhere. So I have to click the link like five times to get it to work and then when it finally starts processing it takes forever.

Something was messed up with the Apache settings on the server. And a high load on the cpu was also making the whole IView server slow as snot. I hope the modifications I made tonight will help get things moving a lot faster.
The IOV server is fine. As far as I know. Anyone having issues if you visit IOV or IO?
PM me or just post a comment here if you notice any problems.

There are other things hosted on the server, so I can't really pinpoint why it is slow at times. I think part of the problem was the statistics generation throughout the day, but aside from that I don't have any guesses.

Checked CPU usage. I think the server was running statistics. This really seems to slow it down.
We really could use a new server just for the board and/or galleries.
