Hey guys! I've been lurking on these boards since the 07 club tour was announced and finally thought it was time to contribute something.
My favorite band besides Incubus is Linkin Park (I know, setting myself up for hate here), but I thought I should share the tour dates since no one here has posted them yet.

so they are finally free to book their tours of choice with their new freedom from the label...write what they want, say what, do what they want... and they CHOOSE to pimp the honda civic again... with linkin park?
man. do i miss the incubus i fell for.
not going to support this tour. enjoy, yall. |

Still got to promote their new album, though, don't they? I can't think of many better ways of doing it than getting publicity through a tour like this.
I think it's better not to judge Incubus as an independant band until they actually release a new record.

The closest show to me is 8 hours away. This may be the first US tour I miss out on in 8 years.  |

I probably am not going but it is because of location not because of who they affiliate with. Honda Civic tour was very good to them in 2002. Missing out on a tour because of some selfish standard is laughable. All those bands that pass up Honda tour opportunities are living on Moms couch. But hey, they have cred yo.

well they don't got to do anything they don't want to, i guess, is my point. that they actually want to do this tour is a letdown to my inner-fandom with this band (it's all about 'me' when it comes to inner-fandom. literally). i'm sure theyll make some $ and up their publicity, but linkin f'ing park?.. and the fu*king honda civic tour.. again?
not to mention that the show back in august @ first midwest was the biggest gathering of D-bags that i've even encountered at an incubus show in my life (14 shows). that it's at the same venue + linkin park headlining all but guarantees that it will get worse before it ever gets better. keep it.

No one here listened to Hybrid Theory as a kid? Linkin Park will always be legit because of Hybrid Theory. Meteora was good, too. If they play the majority of old stuff - this show will be ridiculous.
I thought this would be a thing that would get a positive response.
Is Linkin Park opening for Incubus? Or the other way around? |

Neither; co-headlining. Mute Math opens. LP comes on last but Incubus has the same time duration as headlining.

Linkin Park Underground presale is Monday (4/23)
Linkin Park "Living Things" album presale is Tuesday (4/24)
IncubusHQ and Honda Civic presales are Wednesday (4/25)
LiveNation presales are Friday (4/27) but this is only for the dates on tour that go on sale next Saturday (4/2 |
