Anybody listen?
went to this guy's show tonight (with needle and Chris Marley.)
needle almost got in a fight with Parenthetical Girl's keyboardist (who glared at us like Hannibal Lecter lol.)
btw the show was boring, but the vocalist from Parenthetical Girls sounds like Brett Anderson and is a sweetheart.

UGHHH I love Perfume Genius and Parenthetical Girls!
But yeah, both "Learning" and "Put Your Back N 2 It" are great albums.

needle was telling Chris about something and the Parenthetical Girls' keyboardist (who was standing in front of us) didn't care for it. Because you could honestly hear a pin drop in the fucking place.
The Perfume Genius guy also got into a shouting match with someone else in the crowd about each others' moms and sucking each others' cocks during his set.
Other than that, it was boring and i felt like I should have brought my textbooks.

a stage presence (unrelated to antagonizing people in the already sparse crowd of about 30) would have been a start.
it was a terrible venue for his quiet sound too. the show was booked at a punk bar in East Atlanta. It also explains why his audience was so small despite the fact that his popularity is rising.
