So over in Amp, when I click on the 52nd page of the red hot chili peppers or 224th page of the Favorite songs threads, I get a "no posts exists for this topic" message. The 51st page of RHCP just started working the other day, but before then, I had the 51st and 52nd page there (and they both gave me that message).
So what's the deal?

The long threads often create problems. As posts are deleted, topics aren't repaginated properly (I think). I ran some DB maintenance routines and it looks like it cleared it up.

I closed the "Latest Pictures Thread" and create a new one because of this problem.
I think Drew is right in that the problem is the deletion of posts. For instance, when someone would make a double post or say "nevermind" and a mod deleted it, the topic wasnt repaginated.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I just don't understand why the DB doesn't take care of this automatically? If you delete a post, it truly gets deleted right? Or is it stored for legacy data? (not sure if you're allowed to release this type of info, so sorry if I'm asking too much.)
And yeah, from the threads I mentioned, it's fixed.
