so embarrassed.
i've had highly refined pirates for almost two years, since around the time that planet of ice was released (it leaked like 8 months early) and just never listened to it. probably because i only marginally liked menos el oso.
now i haven't been able to stop listening to it this last week. it's so good. i don't know if it's better than planet of ice, but it's up there with it. i do agree with p4k's comments on some of the near power-pop choruses, which they attribute to jake's vocal ability (or lack thereof), but it's still a phenomenally ambitious album.
i'm in love.

| I don't know if anyone is hitting up their tour that's going on right now, but I'd gladly paypal someone the dough for the Into The Mirror vinyl. They didn't have em at the most recent Portland and Seattle shows and won't be back to the northwest until the very end of the tour. I don't know if they'll sell out but they may, so if anyone is going hit me up. I'd really appreciate the help |

Who are the opening acts for the tour? I can't find them anywhere. I need to know because I'm going to the show on Wednesday in Orlando, FL and I don't know how long it is going to take me to get there.

I'd go to their show on the 21st in DeKalb but it's 4 and a half hours away from East Lansing, on the day we play Penn State. Meaning I'll wait till they come to Michigan.

New single is nasty good.
They're going on a small run and they're hitting up my school (Penn State if anyone else goes there) the day after my birthday which is great.. They're playing with Maps and Atlases, who are also a great band.
