| What's up with incubusbootlegs.com? A few months ago I was there and everything was normal. All the bootlegs were just the regular $11.98. Now I went there and the live in Japan is like $41.00, and they don't even have all of them on there anymore. The site also looks different I think. Does anybody know what happened to the old site?? |

Hmm, looks like incubusbootlegs.com is gone!  It redirects to a Sony site where all the listed cds are from Amazon.com... Shit, I was gonna get a couple more of those boots soon. That sucks. |

That does suck, I hadn't picked them up yet either. I did happen to see a couple of them at a local indie record shop recently, though. I had wanted my purchase to benefit MYF, but if this means that the bucks would go to Sony instead, then I'll head back to the indie place.

That is kind of asstastic. I'm guessing that Sony is using some kind of market pricing, because there's no reason for Live in Malaysia to be $40 while other boots are $10. Hopefully someone can confirm that the differential does go to MYF and not Sony's pockets.

I actually just ordered the Malaysia one from someone off ebay. I just noticed the other day that incubusbootlegs.com wasn't there anymore. And there was no way I was paying $41.55 to the SonyBMG store.
I'm hoping that they come out with more of these.

That $41.55 wasn't to Sony Store it was to a seller on Amazon.
Wonder if this might mean bootlegs are soon to be released from this year's tour...  |

Has anyone heard any more about the bootlegs? I ended up getting Live in Sweden at the indie shop, but they had already sold the others that they had. I messaged Steve Rennie at Facebook and he said he'd see what he could find out, but I haven't heard back from him. The Sony BMG site is now showing them for $13.98 each, but jerks you around when you try to add anything to your shopping cart (or at least it did to me).
Wtf is up?

Woo-hoo! Being obsessive sometimes pays off. I just went to incubusbootlegs.com yet again to see what would happen. It still re-directed me to the Sony BMG site, but this time I was able to add the bootlegs to a shopping cart, at normal prices, and the order is being fulfilled by Amazon. Brand spanking-new copies, at non-inflated prices.
The only thing I don't know is whether my $$ are going to MYF or Sony's pockets.
