Help the hurricane victims

I think it would be the sweetest idea for the Makeyourself foundation to donate to the help of the hurricane victims..if any of u have watched those videos on msn.com or seen the pics or have watched the news u should all agree with me.

Hi, I'm from Lafayette, Louisiana and we were spared Hurricane Katrina, but I've seen alot of people who are from New Orleans and the surrrounding areas who have lost everything. Alot of them are staying here in our Cajundome. I know they could use any help anyone is willing to give. Our local television stations are heading up a relief drive, collecting supplies and monetary donations to the Red Cross for all of the victims of the hurricane. I'm sure if you would like to help, The Red Cross donations would be awesome. I know they would be grateful. Thank you, MYF for your donations. Thank you Incubus. We love you.

Hey guys. I'm from Baton Rouge, LA, and I just want to send out all my love and prayers to the victims of this horrible storm. We only saw a small part of the storm here, and it still did a significant amount of damage to the city. I can't imagine how bad people in New Orleans and Mississippi have it. There are so many victims of the storm here in BR, and our state will never be the same. It would be so awesome if the MYF would help in the effort to repair the beautiful city of NO and the state of Mississippi.

Incubus/MYF donated some money this week and we'll be donating more. We hesitate to announce the total amount right now because there seems to be a tendency for some fans to judge the band based on how much the band/foundation can afford to donate at this point. We will announce how much money (your donations to MYF) went towards the disaster after we have a total figure.

Please know that this disaster is at the forefront of our minds and the bandmembers have been discussing with eachother how they can help.

anything is better than nothing, i think fans who were to complain about the amount of the donation, however large or small it is need to step back for a minuite and look at what they have done to help.

Just knowing that the band wants to help, makes a big difference. I know from talking to alot of the refugees, that are staying here in Lafayette, they feel the love from everyone. It's just nice to know that this foundation cares enough about the state I live in to want to donate. It doesn't matter how much, it's just knowing that they care that counts in my book. I was lucky enough to win the bid on their autographed tour booklet. (I got it at a steal) Now they want to help out in my state and that is heartwarming. I love this foundation and I love Incubus.. Thank you so much..From the bottom of my heart.
